The Birkbeck Writers’ Hub accepts submissions of poetry, fiction and non-fiction. For fiction and non-fiction we accept submissions up to 5,000 words and poetry up to five poems. We publish work under the creative commons licence and would prefer to receive work that is not published or under consideration elsewhere.
Any writer from anywhere in the world is eligible to submit.
All submissions need to be accompanied by a short biography (max 50 words) and contact details. All submissions need to be in a readable Word (.doc) format.
We regret that we will not be able to provide feedback to individual authors.
We are looking for high-quality new fiction, narrative non-fiction and poetry. Please do not send: journalism, scripts or plays as these will be deleted.
We accept submissions via email ONLY to: submissions@writershub.co.uk
Work for the site is selected by a rotating team of Birkbeck students, alumni and staff. You will hear back within two months of the submission deadline if your work has been selected. NO correspondence can be entered into regarding the decision of the editorial panel and it is the responsibility of the author to ensure that work has been submitted in the correct format and sent to the correct email address.
