Dane Buckley is a native Londoner and enjoyed a childhood of storytelling, folk and skulduggery. He enjoys an adulthood of much the same. He currently manages Day Services at The London Irish Centre, where he is paid to listen to people’s stories; he hopes that one day people will pay to listen to his.
Dane is in his first year of the Creative Writing MA at Birkbeck and is one of the editorial team for the forthcoming, Mechanic’s Institute Review 9. He is currently working on his first novel and enjoys writing poetry in English, Irish and occasionally Polari. |
