Based in the South East of the capital, ‘Spread the Word’ is London’s leading writer development agency, and it is proud to present its autumn programme this year, from 26 September-10 December 2011. Covering topics such as script writing, ‘cultural memory’ and advice on writing from Kate Pullinger, this programme is sure to have something for everyone. Whether you are a budding or advanced writer, specialise in prose, poetry or playwrighting, ‘Spread the Word’ has award winning writers, tutors and industry experts available to offer advice and feedback – you also have the opportunity to discuss your writing and the wider writing world.
Tours to the best of London’s museums, theatres, writing venues and bookshops will take you on an unforgettable writing experience, whether it’s to ‘Writers’ Rendezvous’ in a Bloomsbury bookshop, the Canal Museum with Delia Macauley, a golden age of poetry at Hampton Court Palace or exploring the rise of ghost stories at The Charles Dickens Museum. The fourteen events are held on separate days, with varying entry fees – all offer concessions, and cater to either Events and Networking, Professional Development or Writing Workshops depending on your particular area of interest.
