You are invited to join us at the next Hubbub for another literary brouhaha in a slightly bigger venue this time.
Our special guests readers for this event are Julia Bell and Luke Williams:
Julia Bell is a novelist and Senior Lecturer on the Birkbeck Creative Writing Programme. She has published two novels for young adults - Massive and Dirty Work, both published by Macmillan in the UK. She also co-edited the bestselling Creative Writing Coursebook. She currently working on her fourth novel as well as writing poetry, short stories, taking photographs and overseeing the Writers' Hub.

Luke Williams was born in 1977. He grew up in Fife, Scotland, and studied creative writing at the University of East Anglia, where he was taught by W. G. Sebald. The Echo Chamber, his debut novel, was published last year by Hamish Hamilton in the UK and by Penguin Viking in the US, and it won the 2011 Saltire Society Scottish First Book of the Year Award. He is currently collaborating on a novel about Diego Garcia with Natasha Soobramanien - who also contributed towards The Echo Chamber.
They will be joined by the following Birkbeck students reading from their own writing: Fiona Melrose, Dane Buckley, Tarquin Landseer & Nadim Safdar.
Hubbub will take place on Monday 27 February, 7:30 pm at the Kings' Cross Social Club 2 Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JE. It is a five minute... walk from King's Cross Station - walk south down Grays Inn Road and the second road on your left is Britannia Street.
Entrance is free but with a suggested donation of £3 towards the running of future events.
